The last week in February the students learned about many important African-Americans. They learned about Harriet Tubman, conductor of the Underground Railroad, George Washington Carver, maker of peanut butter, Garrett Morgan, inventor of the traffic light, and Martin Luther King Jr., leader of the civil rights movement just to name a few. Below you will see different photos of the activities we did.

Parents we have had a great first week of school! The students are doing a great job of learning the rules, managing transitions, and learning their new school. Here are my classroom rules please review these rules with your child.
